OVERVIEW

Rachael Bandeira is an accomplished litigator who focuses her practice on vigorously defending healthcare professionals in a variety of complex civil litigation matters involving medical malpractice, long-term care liability, professional liability, and professional licensure claims.

Prior to joining Sharuzi Law Group, Ltd., Rachael gained valuable experience in a Boston-based medical malpractice firm, in which she developed a strong foundation in case analysis, motion practice, and client counseling. She approaches each case with close attention to detail and a commitment to efficient, results-driven advocacy.

Through Rachael's substantial experience in medical malpractice matters, she has defended numerous cases involving alleged failures in diagnoses, delayed treatment, surgical and procedural complications, medication and charting errors, wound care management, and post-operative monitoring. She has also successfully defended matters involving emergent care, obstetrics, cardiology, orthopedics, internal medicine, and skilled nursing services.

Outside of her legal practice, Rachael is a dedicated, high-level athlete – an experience that sharpens her competitive instincts and fuels her disciplined, strategic approach to litigation. The preparation, teamwork and mental toughness required for high-stakes moments on the field naturally carries into her advocacy, giving her a steady, focused presence even in the most challenging cases.

PERSONAL

A former dual-sport college athlete, Rachael currently plays competitive flag football in various leagues and tournaments throughout the county and tackle football for the Mile High Blaze – Colorado's Premier Women's Semi-Professional Tackle Football Team in the Women's Football Alliance. She also enjoys spending her time with family and friends, visiting family and friends in Portugal, or outside hiking, on the water, or occasionally training for triathlons.
