OVERVIEW

Natalie Novak is a strategic litigator who defends her clients' interests in large-scale medical malpractice disputes in both state and federal court. She represents healthcare systems and teaching institutions, fertility clinics, hospitals, providers, medical staff, and correctional facilities in claims involving a wide range of allegations, including all aspects of medical malpractice, negligent credentialing, and inadequate policymaking.  

Natalie has experience in defending manufacturers and corporations in product liability cases. In defending national corporations, Natalie prioritizes risk mitigation and ensuring consistent handling of claims across the corporation. Additionally, Natalie has experience in defending transportation entities - including trucking companies, public transportation, and vehicle insurers.  

In each of her cases, Natalie makes a concerted effort to develop relationships with her opposing counsel and co-defendants to ensure swift resolution for her clients. Natalie zealously advocates for her clients through creative legal strategies, targeted research and discovery, and aggressive motion practice. 

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Prior to joining Sharuzi Law Group Ltd., Natalie practiced in the Chicagoland area where she focused on defending various healthcare entities, including various teaching hospitals, large hospitals systems, and healthcare providers. Her experience includes defending catastrophic birth-related injuries, fertility care, emergency room care, wound and long term healthcare, surgical care and negligent hiring/supervision. While in Chicago, Natalie also gained experience in product liability defense for national corporations. Natalie joined an insurance defense firm in Denver, Colorado in the fall of 2022 where her practice focused on trucking, UIM claims, coverage determinations, premises liability, and motor vehicle accident defense.

PERSONAL

In her personal time, Natalie enjoys hiking, water skiing, visiting new restaurants and cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
