OVERVIEW
Erik Moya is an experienced litigator and trial attorney who provides robust defense representation to healthcare professionals in a variety of fields, including medical, dental, nursing, and hospital malpractice cases, professional board disputes, premises liability suits, and defamation claims. He guides clients through all phases of the legal process, from initial case evaluation all the way through trial and post-trial motions.
Erik's commitment to strategic defense is underpinned by a strong understanding of legal principles and a meticulous approach to case analysis. He leverages his legal expertise, honed at the University of Colorado Law School (and his time as a member of the university's Korey Wise Innocence Project, the Civil Practice Clinic, and the Mock Trial National Team), to effectively protect his clients' interests and mitigate potential risks.
Prior to joining Sharuzi Law Group Ltd., Erik practiced in a Denver-based boutique personal injury firm for several years, where he gained valuable experience in representing plaintiffs in all manner of situations and at all stages of litigation and trial. This unique perspective allows him to understand opposing counsel's thinking and expectations, anticipate opposing counsel's strategies, and develop effective defense tactics to the benefit of his clients. Erik also worked for the University of Colorado - University Counsel while in school, exposing him to a variety of different legal fields that granted him a deeper understanding of any issues that could arise in a case.
Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a Certification in Business Foundations from the University of Texas – Austin, providing him with a unique analytical approach to legal problem-solving that helps him understand how individual moving pieces come together to form a whole solution. Outside of his legal practice, Erik enjoys exploring Denver's culinary scene, watching movies and eSports, and staying active through running, swimming, and tennis. He also continues to explore his interest in art through learning the piano and drawing digital art of nature's landscapes.

Erik loves to try out new restaurants and movies in his spare time. He spends his time outside running, swimming, and playing tennis, and enjoys visiiting his friends and family that are spread around the U.S.
